I got this exact garphics card in my dell E510 pc, and so far im satisfied with it but its very loud, is there anything i should do? I’m thinking in upgrading the power supply from a 305 watt to a 550 or 650 watt power supply…

@gertz1247 ya 9600 GT is better than GT 240 GDDR3 version

gertz1247 July 30, 2010 at 1:26 pm

alexander1993brur July 30, 2010 at 1:39 pm

Flybyhacker July 30, 2010 at 2:19 pm

Yawn(boring)
I notice that GDDR3 and GDDR5 circuit print and capacitor place at different place
…..
Yeah ,GT 240 best for HTPC …speaking of mainstream games …..little bottleneck

myfreetime123 July 30, 2010 at 3:07 pm

@AlienBabelTech Good point I should have clarified. Well I defiantly want a card that can run any game out there right now on high-max. Is it good for that at least?

AlienBabelTech July 30, 2010 at 3:36 pm

@myfreetime123 depends on what kind of performance you are looking for

myfreetime123 July 30, 2010 at 3:51 pm

As of this current date is this card outdated?

myfreetime123 July 30, 2010 at 4:33 pm

I’m glad to see such a high end card so cheap.
